Plans of Study and Graduation

Plans of Study

To find the specific plan of study for your major, select the major below and then select your catalog year. For most majors, this is the year you entered CLAS. (But it can be changed by the student to any following year.) Each plan of study has contains information about the Major and General Education course requirements.

Starting Fall 2025, there are various changes to the majors and requirements for new students (but students who began at UConn prior to this term can opt to change to the new requirements):

1. The new CORE Curriculum for general education requirements.

2. The new Mathematics major contains concentrations for Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Mathematics Teaching. This means that Applied Math is now a concentration instead of a separate major for new students

3. The Mathematics-Physics major is no longer available to new students, not even as a track under the new math major.
