Mathematical Physics Seminar
Direct Integrals IV
Arthur Parzygnat (University of Connecticut)
Wednesday, November 7, 2018
MONT 214 (Storrs)
In the last talk, we finally defined the direct integral and discussed some examples. In this talk, we will look at more examples, study the properties of direct integrals, and discuss constructions. The ultimate goal of this series of talks is to understand the mathematics behind band theory (topological and ordinary) from condensed matter physics.
Comments: If anyone is interested in giving a talk at this seminar, please contact Arthur at email@example.com. Graduate students are particularly encouraged to give talks.
