Distance distortion estimate in Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature

This is the first talk on the recent study of Ricci flow with bounded scalar curvature, which will be about the distance distortion estimate: the distance between two points x,y in the manifold M changes by at most a uniform factor on a time-interval (whose size depends on the upper bound of the scalar curvature and the distance between x,y at the central time. I will be presenting the precise statement and the detailed proof of it. This talk is based on Section 3 of the paper, Heat kernel and curvature bounds in Ricci flows with bounded scalar curvature, written by R. H. Bamler and Q. S. Zhang.
