Brief course description:
Course Notes: Note that the suggested homewok assignments on Dr. Gross' website and the homework assigned in my sections will not always be the same. Check here for the accurat assignments.
Prerequisites: Math 101 and Math 105 or equivalent.
Course grade: This will be based on the following weighting:
Homework: Homework assignments will be posted on the bottom of this web. Due dates will be marked on each assignment. No late homeworks will be accepted.Quizes: Quizes will in general be given every thursday at the beginning of class. No make up quizes will be given.
- Computational homework problems should present a complete calculation, starting with the data of the problem. Do not just give the answer.
Projects: Projects will be assigned during the course of the semester as time and material present themselves.
Exams: TBA
- No make-up exams will be given except at the discretion of Dr. Gross. All excuses for missing an exam should be cleared with him before the exam to ensure that they are accepted.
If you need exam accomodations based on a documented disability, you need to speak with both the Center for Student Disabilities and the course instructor within the first two weeks of the semester.
