Brief course description:

Course Notes:

Prerequisites: Math1010Q or equivalent.

Course grade: This will be based on the following weighting:

20% Quizes
10% In-class mini assignments
20% each midterm exam.
30% Final exam.

Homework:

None collected, but you should still be spending several hours each week studying and learning the material outside of class.

Quizes:

Quizes will in general be given every Friday at the end of class. No make up quizes will be given. The lowest two will be dropped and no make-up quizes offered.

Projects:

Projects will be assigned during the course of the semester as time and material present themselves. And in the grading scheme will count as quizes.

Exams: See above.

No make-up exams will be given except with documented excuses presented to me before the exam AND approved.

If you need exam accomodations based on a documented disability, you need to speak with both the Center for Student Disabilities and the me within the first two weeks of the semester.
