http://egrade.brownstone.net/live/classes/math112section1
http://egrade.brownstone.net/live/classes/math112section15
The screen will give you a link to 'register' for the class. After clicking on this, you will be taken to a screen which will prompt you for the 17-digit access code included with your text.
There will be non-graded homework assigned via the course website for the lecture, which closely matches the problems given for the online homework, therefore it is in your best interest to do these assignments as well as the necessary online graded homework.
Quizzes will be given every Monday, starting the second week of classes, (i.e., Sep. 1st ). If Monday falls on a holiday we will have the quiz the next possible class. There will also be projects that will be given intermittently throughout the semester. Both quizzes and projects will be averaged together, thus there is no difference between a quiz and a project as far as grading is concerned. The lowest two grades in this category will be dropped.
Exams are given in the lecture class, note that in order to pass the class, you Must have passed the Gateway Exam.
Make-up and Attendance Policies
In this class attendance is not required, however there are no make-ups given for any quiz or project, no exceptions.
Calculator Policy
Graphing Calculators are required, however only TI-82,83,84,85 or 86 are allowed. TI-89/TI-92 are not allowed at any time. Calculators are not allowed at all on the Gateway exam.
Academic Integrity
Cheating is forbidden. Anybody caught cheating in any way will fail the assignment. Cheating does include inappropriate use of calculator memory.
