My name is Jun Peng. I am currently an assistant professor in residence at the University of Connecticut. I received my Ph.D. from the Louisiana State University in August 2016, under the direction of Dr. Oliver Dasbach. Research

My research interest is in knot theory. I mainly focus on the colored Jones polynomial, hyperbolic volume of link complements, and left orderable groups.

About Me

In my spare time, I like photoing while hiking (barely selfie, mainly natural beauties), and experiencing all national parks here is my ambitious goal (which seems to be too ambitious for me XD). Also, I play racket ball every week, though I'm still just an inexperienced player:)
