Dennis Eichhorn's Home Page
This page is under construction.
Hello! Welcome to my home page.
I work in the areas of Combinatorics and Analytic Number Theory
here at
University of Connecticut's
Math Department.
The primary focus of my research is in partition theory, but I do research
in other areas as well.
My Erdös Number is 2,
and I have an exciting mathematical genealogy.
I was advisor to Cal State East Bay's
Putnam Team/Math Problems Group,
and have been involved in similar pursuits here at UConn, including helping
UConn students
prepare
for the
GRE Math Subject Exam
and the Putnam Exam.
Here is some research stuff, which is pretty out of date, but will be updated soon:
- My
CV.
- A statement about
my teaching.
- A statement about
my research.
- Summaries of my earlier manuscripts and publications in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats (very out of date).
- Reviews of some of my earlier publications.
- "Congruences for partition functions" with Ken Ono in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- "A Combinatorial Approach to Partitions with Parts in the Gaps" in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- "Edge-Bandwidth of Theta Graphs" with Dhruv Mubayi, Kevin O'Bryant, and Doug West in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- "Edge-Coloring Cliques with Many Colors on Subcliques" with Dhruv Mubayi in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- "Gap Unification Theory: a Note on the Treatment of Partitions Via Their Gaps" in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- "Computational Proofs of Congruences for 2-colored Frobenius Partitions" with James Sellers in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- "Finitization Proofs of Congruences for t-cores" with James Sellers in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
- My thesis, "Some Results on the Congruential and Gap-Theoretic Study of
Partition Functions" in
dvi,
ps, or
pdf formats.
