About me

I am a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Connecticut.

I am associate director of the UConn Logic Group, and an affiliate member of the Connecticut Institute for the Brain and Cognitive Sciences.

My research is in mathematical logic, specifically in computability theory, reverse mathematics, effective combinatorics, and computable analysis. I am also interested in the philosophy of mathematics, and the application of logic to cognitive science.

My work is currently supported in part by NSF Grant DMS-1400267.

I received my Ph.D. in 2011 from the University of Chicago under Robert Soare, Denis Hirschfeldt, and Antonio Montalbán. I was previously an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Notre Dame and the University of California, Berkeley.
