  • Week 1
    • Days 1, 2: Introduction, motivational examples
    • Day 3: Definition of an elliptic curve
    • Day 4: The Mordell-Weil theorem, torsion subgroups
    • Day 5: Elliptic Curves over finite fields
  • Week 2
    • Day 6: Linear independence of points of infinite order
    • Days 7, 8: 2-Descent, Selmer and Sha
    • Days 9, 10: Lattices, elliptic functions and modular curves
  • Week 3
    • Days 11, 12, 13: Modular forms for SL(2,Z) and other subgroups
    • Day 14: The L-functions attached to ell. curves and mod. forms
    • Day 15: The modularity theorem
