Math Scholar Courses

Most semesters, the Department offers a Math Scholar Course on a subject of current interest to its faculty and one which is not part of the current mathematics curriculum. Students that have a proven record of achievement in their previous mathematics courses receive an invitation to register for the next Scholar course. Upon the successful completion of two Math Scholar courses, the student receives a certificate proclaiming that they have met the requirements of the Math Scholar Program. Students in the Honors Program receive Honors credit for these courses through the conversion process.
