Awards Day 2007

The Department's Annual Awards Day Ceremony was held on Wednesday, April 18. Opening remarks were given by Dr. Douglas Hamilton, Associate Dean of CLAS and Professor of Physics.

The following awards were presented:

For the Calculus Competition:

Sy-Han Chiou for Second Overall
Michael Vincent Santone for Third Overall and First Intermediate
Harpreet S. Mankoo for Honorable Mention Overall
Shree Dattatray Thatte for Second Intermediate
Vi Q Ha for Third Intermediate
Renaldo Avinash Persaud for First Beginner and Honorable Mention Intermediate
Pratistha Koirala for Honorable Mention Intermediate
Kedron Pyle Silsbee for over-all honors in the EO Smith division

For the William Lowell Putnam Intercollegiate Competition:

The Cigna Awards for Outstanding Actuarial Science Major:

The Louis J. DeLuca Memorial Award for Outstanding Teaching Assistant:

The Connie Strange Graduate Community Award:
Avraham Bourla and Lisa Termine
