To use Maple 10, you need a Maple 10 license file. Once the program is installed, you must activate it. The activation process automatically obtains and installs your license file to the license folder of your Maple installation directory. During activation you will be prompted for a purchase code. See below for more information.

If you experience problems activating Maple 10:
(1) Ensure that you can connect to the Internet.
(2) Start Standard Worksheet Maple 10.
(3) When prompted to activate, click Activate.
(4) Follow the on-screen instructions.
(5) If you cannot connect to the Internet, follow the instructions in the Maple10_Activate.txt file in the license folder of your Maple 10 installation.
