The University of Connecticut Storrs Campus is located in the northeast corner of Connecticut, off of Interstate 84. Parking rates:
University permits - $4 per car per day
Nathan Hale Inn permits - $5 per car per day
If you are arriving by air, we recommend the following options in order of convenience for you.
  1. Fly to Bradley International (BLD) in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
  2. Fly to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Jamaica, New York. On arrival go to the Ground Transportation Counter, and take a Connecticut Limousine to Hartford, Connecticut (Union Station).
  3. Fly to Logan International Airport, in Boston, Massachusetts, and take a bus from the airport to Hartford, Union Station. Check Peter Pan Bus Lines for bus schedule and fares.
Shuttle transportation can be made available from and to Bradley Airport, or the Union Station in downtown Hartford, on arrival (Sunday, June 10) and departure (Saturday, June 16). The fee for the shuttle to or from either location is $25 each way. If you wish to use the shuttle, let us know on the online registration form.

Train and Bus service is available to downtown Hartford at Union Station, just 30 minutes from campus. Following are the transportation service providers available at Union Station:

Taxi Service

If you prefer to take a taxi to campus, there are taxi stands out in front of the terminals at Bradley Airport as well as Union Station in Hartford. There is no need to make arrangements in advance as you can usually get a taxi in 5-10 minutes from either location. Generally fares to campus are approximately $70 from Bradley Airport and $66 from the train station. Taxi capacity is two to four occupants, depending on the amount of luggage.

If you mention that you are a UConn conference participant, some of the taxi services will discount the fare a few dollars. If you prefer to make your arrangements for taxi service in advance, AAA Cab & Limousine Service has been a reliable service to campus and can be reached at 860-645-1999.
